Scholarships

Rotary District 6910 is proud to open doors to life-changing educational opportunities through a wide range of scholarship programs. From empowering high school students pursuing their next steps in learning, to supporting professionals dedicated to peacebuilding, service, and global impact, our scholarships help fuel brighter futures both locally and around the world. Whether you’re seeking assistance for academic goals or passionate about advancing global grant initiatives, District 6910 is committed to investing in leaders who will make a difference.

This needs-based scholarship supports students sponsored by a Rotary Club in District 6910 who plan to attend a Georgia public postsecondary institution for one or more years. Eligible applicants must be pursuing a career aligned with one of Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus, including peace and conflict resolution, disease prevention, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, economic and community development, or environmental stewardship.  Students must be nominated by a Rotary Club within District 6910 and show financial need.  Rotary District 6910 is prepared to award needs-based Rotary District 6910 Education Scholarships to qualified graduating high school students with a one-time award of a $2,000 to one student per Rotary Club for up to a total of five (5) scholarships awarded annually, not to exceed $10,000.

These scholarships are offered exclusively to Interact students and are funded through a combination of Interact dues and support from Rotary District 6910. In the past few years, the district has awarded seven scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 to outstanding Interactors who demonstrate leadership, service, and academic commitment.

Rotary Clubs and Rotary Districts offer scholarships for secondary, undergraduate, or graduate study. These scholarships can be supported with funds raised locally or with Rotary Foundation district or global grants.

The Rotary Peace Fellowship is a prestigious, fully funded opportunity for leaders committed to advancing peace and resolving conflict worldwide.
