We also collected hundreds of pounds of sporting goods and shoes for donation! This April, over 1,000 Rotarians from across Georgia gathered on beautiful Jekyll Island for the first-ever multi?district conference—an unforgettable weekend of engaging speakers, friendly competitions, beachside fun, and live entertainment under the sunset sky (georgiauniteddc.com).
During the event Rotarians contributed over 300 lbs of gently used sporting equipment and more than 12 bags of shoes to be donated to the GotSneakers organization.
