Celebrate World Interact Week2025

Every year, during the first week of November, Rotary clubs around the world come together to celebrate World Interact Week — a time dedicated to recognizing the incredible impact that Interact Clubs make in their schools, communities, and beyond. Our local clubs are working on coat drives, food drives, Trunk or Treat events, Polio awareness and more.

Interact was founded by Rotary International in 1962 as a way to empower young people ages 12–18 to discover the power of “Service Above Self.” Since then, Interact has grown into a global movement of more than 500,000 members in over 150 countries, each taking action to create lasting change locally and globally.

Rotary and Interact Clubs often mark the week with joint service projects, social gatherings, mentorship events, or recognition ceremonies that highlight the achievements of Interactors. Some clubs host leadership workshops or invite Interactors to share their experiences at Rotary meetings — bridging generations of service and creating meaningful connections.

As Rotarians, celebrating World Interact Week isn’t just about recognizing young leaders — it’s about investing in the future of Rotary. These students represent the next wave of changemakers who will carry forward our mission of fellowship and community impact. By supporting Interact, we nurture leadership, compassion, and global citizenship — the very values that define Rotary itself. All active clubs can apply to be District 6910 Club of the year and work towards the Zone 34 Interact awards. Rotary International  Interact video awards deadlines are coming up soon. Clubs can follow Instagram @rotaryyoungleaders for Interact Awards updates and inspiration!

So this week, take a moment to connect with your local Interact Club, celebrate their efforts, and let them know how proud we are to have them as part of the our Rotary family.
